      At NTS, your sustainability is our priority. We offer a full range of wetland services to meet the needs of private industry, local units of government and private land owners. Wetland regulations are complex and require in-depth knowledge and certification. NTS' wetland professionals include staff who are certified by the Society of Wetland Scientists as Professional Wetland Scientists. NTS staff also hold certification from the Minnesota Wetland Delineator Certification Program to perform wetland delineations. NTS specializes in wetland services to the Upper Midwest and has extensive Northeastern Minnesota project experience. NTS wetland experience includes projects in mining, energy, transportation, residential/commercial and local/regional planning.

      NTS offers a broad spectrum of services to assist contractors, property owners, architects, and engineers to provide quality assurance and quality control for various construction projects. During the project's design or proposal phase NTS can provide a variety of tests to assist the architects or engineers in their decision process. Once the project begins NTS offers both field and laboratory testing services. Testing services are provided by experienced, certified personnel. NTS also offers a variety of unique project specific field and laboratory services.

      Our hydrogeologists offer groundwater services and specialize in serving the needs of clients in northern Minnesota. Our groundwater professionals are licensed professional geologists that have the training, knowledge, project experience, and resources to apply the latest aquifer characterization methodologies. NTS personnel coordinate with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies to achieve the business objectives of our clients.

      NTS inspectors are licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health and will accurately identify asbestos containing materials (ACM) and potential hazardous materials found within the structure. These materials can be found in many forms; pipe insulation, ceiling tiles, floor tiles, glues and mastics, insulations, electrical wiring, ceramics, grout and cement, exterior siding, and many other building products. Clients throughout Minnesota have used our inspection services, which include: local, state, and federal government, fire departments, commercial business, and private residences.
      Each inspection is completed in a timely manner. By identifying ACM and hazardous materials the remaining disposal material can be appropriately identified and reduce the cost. It keeps your valued employees safe and healthy. NTS has professional staff with training and certifications required to perform inspections, interface with regulatory agencies, and write bid specifications for abatement of asbestos and hazardous materials.

All test procedures follow the current ASTM methods. NTS mining lab employees have extensive knowledge and experience in the mining industry.
